The Zimm Twins are enjoying their first HOT summer. Although, I have resigned from my job, each morning, we get up and go to Da's house (my Grandmother's house and my Family's office). Most days Doug & Kate are real troopers and go, go, go... some days we like to stay in the cool A/C.
Tuesdays are still "Doug's day with Jenna". He gets SO excited when he realizes it is Tuesday! Jenna will be having a baby boy soon and we are trying to teach Doug 'to share'.
Kate has the heart of her Great Uncle David (just like her Mom!!!). Kate started 'belly laughing' and she just loves it when Uncle David picks her up and holds her.
Last Sunday; Grandmommy, Granddaddy, Mom, Dad, Doug & Kate made a day trip to Waco and Round Rock. We went to a sale for cute clothes for the kids. While Grandmommy & Mom shopped, Granddaddy, Dad & the Twins went to see Lake Waco. We drove on down to Round Rock for lunch and a brief stop at the outlet mall. The Twins did WONDERFUL.... no fussy. They are world travelers...
Last Thursday, Doug & Kate had a playdate with cousin Kara and Kyle. With the exception of sleeping through most of the day, they had a great time!
Saturday, Grandmommy & Granddaddy took the Zimm Twins to meet Betty Boop and Buck Coates. "Boop" was Da's cousin. Kate sat and talked to "Boop" and when Doug got a little fussy, Granddaddy took him outside. Doug just loves the outside, watching the trees and birds.
As we begin another week, the camera is always with us, to watch the Zimm Twins grow SO fast... here are some cute pictures from the last few weeks.
