Saturday, October 25th; the Zimm Twins made their first trip to Houston, Texas. We traveled to Houston early on Saturday stopping along the way. We stopped at Chick Fil A next to our house to celebrate Tony's Birthday breakfast. On the road, we stopped at the Collin Street Bakery in Corsicana, Texas. It was a 'sweet' stop for a little break from the car. Traveling on, we celebrated Tony's Birthday again with a candle and piece of beef jerkey in Centerville, Texas. Arriving in the Houston area, we ate lunch at the famous Rudy's BBQ.
Tony was able to shop until he dropped at the Houston University Co-op. Just what he needed... more orange & white!!!
We were in Houston for cousin Jay & Gloria Peterson's surprise 25th Wedding Anniversary Party. It was great for the Zimm Twins to meet all the Petersons. The party was so nice and the Zimm Twins were able to stay awake for dinner with the Petersons and the first part of the party.
Sunday, October 26th; as we left Houston, we drove to College Station, Texas. The Zimm Twins first trip to Texas A&M. We visited the George H. W. Bush Presidential Musuem. Tony only allowed for a quick drive thru the campus of Texas A&M... he got the Zimm Twins out of College Station as fast as he could!!!!!!!!!
